Hope Spivey began gymnastics at the age of 7. She practiced endless hours at a local gym, a nearby YMCA, and later at distant summer camps. Her dedication and skill took her far, all the way to the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. Spivey also received a full athletic scholarship to the University of Georgia. There, she competed and received many titles, including 11 time All-American, 5-time NCAA champion, and she later was inducted into the Virginia and Georgia sports Hall of Fame.

For the past 18 years, Hope has operated her own gymnastics club with plans to build a new 14,000 square foot training center.

“Through it all, I have been so blessed. I reached the top. Many people strive for that, but I had the opportunity to represent God and my country. It is something that can never be taken away from me.”
